DACA ActionOn Monday, December 4th at 12PM, undocumented youth, adults and workers are coming together outside of Senator Schumer’s office to ask that he:

1) Take a public stand and action against enforcement in the federal budget and spending bills
2) Pass a clean Dream Act
3) Commit to working to make significant cuts to ICE and CBP’s budget
Outside Senator Schumer Office (780 3rd Avenue, New York, NY 10017)
Monday, December 4, 2017 from 12pm-1pm
Since the Trump administration cruelly rescinded the DACA program, leaving 800,000 immigrant youth and their families exposed to deportations, the responsibility to protect undocumented immigrants has been on Congress. However Congress developing a budget that seeks to achieve harsh enforcement policies through spending bills that include $1.3 Billion for the border wall, hiring of 500 Border Patrol Agents, expansion of detention centers and ICE agents.
Now more than ever we need our allies in the Senate to fight against any and all enforcement designed to attack our communities and to continue to push for a clean Dream Act.
