Tell SoHo BID: End Criminalization of Street Vending!

SVP July19Food, merchandise, and art vendors contribute immensely to life in SoHo. As they work to support their families and provide much desired services to shoppers, vendors face constant ticketing and harrassment by police, the health department, and the BID.

Join SoHo Vendors and the Street Vendor Project as we march to the office of the SoHo-Broadway Initiative, the Business Improvement District behind the attempts to criminalize vending and push vendors off the streets! Sign our petition!

Tuesday, July 19 at 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Broadway And Canal St

This protest is part of our larger Lift The Caps campaign pushing the city to lift the caps on vending permits and licenses, open more streets for vendors, and change the 20ft from a door rule that makes vending in SoHo more difficult than it should be.
